Borobudur Temple

Borobudur Temple, located in Magelang, Central Java, dates back to the 8th century and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in a mandala structure, the temple consists of thousands of relief panels depicting Buddhist teachings and historical narratives. Visitors can explore multiple levels leading to the main stupa at the top while enjoying scenic views of surrounding mountains. The temple is especially popular during sunrise for its serene and mystical atmosphere, as well as during the annual Vesak celebration.
